Earth Day 2025

Colorado Springs parks have banded together for Earth Day 2025. To celebrate, Blodgett Open Space, Palmer Park, and Ute Valley Park are hosting our 4th annual 3 Days 3 Parks event where we gather the community to give back to our parks by volunteering.

April 25-27, 2025

Three Parks. Three Days.

From April 25-27, 2025, join us for three days of meaningful volunteer work across our parks. Help remove invasive plants, restore trails, clean up trash, and reseed areas at Blodgett Open Space, Palmer Park, and Ute Valley Park. Each location offers unique opportunities to protect and preserve our natural spaces.

Friday, April 25, 2025 8AM-12PM

Friday, April 25th will be the Blodgett Open Space volunteer day, where we will work on removing excess dog waste and trash from the park, clearing culverts, removing noxious weeds, restoring trail tread and reseeding .

Saturday, April 26, 2025 9AM-12:30PM

Come join Guardians of Palmer Park as they host Earth Day and volunteer work day doing some "Rogue" trail closing at yucca flats. scarifying, seeding and reclaiming areas used for shortcutting and or off trail use.

Sunday, April 27, 2025 9AM-1PM

Sunday, April 27th is the Ute Valley Park volunteer day. We will be decompacting and reseeding social trails around the Vindicator meadow and removing trash and invasive plants throughout the park.

Volunteer for a Better Community

Our volunteers make a tremendous impact on our parks and community. No experience necessary! We welcome individuals, families, and groups of all abilities. Youth ages 14-17 must be accompanied by an adult, and volunteers must be at least 18 years old to participate independently.

All Skill Levels Welcome

Tasks range from easy to moderate. We'll provide all tools and training!

Flexible Time Commitment

Join us one day, or all three days — it's up to you!
